Swashbuckler ??
Ok,
Don't want this to start in on a not liking Factions. (I am a little disapointed in the direction though). I was looking forward to new races but now that we are sticking with humans I am focused more on classes.
How about Swashbuckler?? With the elaborate costumes and weapon types that are GW, this would be a perfect place for a swashbuckler/pirate type.
Maybe in another release..........

Dude you can't catagorize every new profession into a combo.. It doesn't work like that.
Since when did Warriors look like Pirates?.. Let alone since when did Pirates use Necromancer Magic?

We can categorize most classes with a combo, But I thought a swashbuckler was more of a ranger type than Necro but that's just me .

swashbuckler? mmm sounds like someone must have played eq2, i did and was a swashbuckler, liked the class was more of a ranger w/stealth and a warrior at the same time with duel wield..except for the stealth part we have that already with the w/r or soon to be r/as

Point is, categorizing all new profession ideas as a certain core profession combination devalues those new ideas and is somewhat insulting. Thus the annoyance.

Well, i dunno, we prolly do need to get pirates in the game soon. I mean now that we have Ninjas, we're gonna need to include their natural enemies.

Yeah, just like:
R/W = Assasin
Mo/N = Ritualist
I think some people do just think ANet made the new professions from class combos. I think those combos are KIND of what they are like. Dunno about the Mo/N, I don't know enough about it to compare to the Ritualist. But from PvP Weekend, R/W kind of seemed like the Assasin. Deal some damage, dodge and evade a bunch of attacks, run away.

Or ye could say that:
A/* = Assassin
Rt/* = Ritualist
Do we have to label everything in terms of the core six classes? If so, then why are we bothering to include new professions at all? At least make the effort to see the new guys as new and unique possibilities, eh?

I will only play this class if my primary attribute can be booty mastery. That is all.
